  1. Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit are only to be accessed on browsers.
    • Facebook is only to be used for choir notifications; a notification preview will be sent to your email.
    • Instagram browser usage paired with the IGPlus extension, which disables the explore page (reroutes to Following tab), feed recommendations, and likes and follower amounts (vanity metrics).
  2. Barred from making a Substack account. Just sign up for email notifications from your favorite authors.
  3. Prioritize Invidious usage over Youtube. Log into your account. Homepage set to Subscriptions instead of Trending.
  4. Prioritize RSS Feed over Neocities feed.
    • Utilize your own RSS feed more and continue to make edits to your Update Log.
  5. Keep the AO3 (hide stats) skin on when able, but don't beat yourself up when you turn it off.
    • Remember, you recieve email notifications each morning regarding kudos, and are notified of comments as they arrive.
    • Realize the compulsive checking is an attempt to sate your boredom. Find something to do, like studying Japanese.
      • Even better: when you're compulsively reaching for your phone/web, get in touch with your body. Diagnose the problem, and identify a solution.
  6. Keep the Neocities (hide stats) skin on when able, but don't beat yourself up when you turn it off.
  7. Consider refraining from viewing websites you know hurt you (morbid curiosity). Block them if you must.

Day-to-day:

  1. Listening to music while showering should not be the norm. Let yourself and your thoughts breathe.
  2. Consider not bringing your phone to the toilet. You will not die.
