Sleep Collection

Undertale was a massive comfort to me for a few years, and it was so relaxing to fall asleep to.

I listened to this one a ton. I memorized which song came next and often could map those sort of random, idiosyncratic sounds unique to botw. The bug sounds really add to it. It feels like a summer night.

The innocent-childishness of Animal Crossing can sometimes comfort and sometimes disturb me. I often find some of the sounds too harsh to relax to.

Extremely comforting. Beneath the Mask has always been extremely comforting. I remember one tired, early morning doing math homework (always a struggle) to Beneath the Mask on loop. I listened to this so much it got old, though.

It also became unplayable when loud, disruptive ads came on my phone as I was trying to sleep.

At times, this piece reminds me of Legend of Zelda. Specifically, Skyward Sword. You can hear bird sounds throughout, but it's also just very spring-summer-esque with its sound. The instrument choices (flute, harp) really lend to it.

This is ol' reliable right here. I have zero negative feelings or memories attached to this video. It's atmospheric and smooth enough to have in the background, as if you've left the game running and the music is doing it's job as background music.

Every once in awhile, I like to imagine I'm one of the Zora and that I also get to interact with Sidon. I've always fallen asleep really fast when I start daydreaming.

Lately, I've been too overstimulated and tired for even this, so I have to fall asleep in silence, but I'll usually still daydream.

Is it a rude move or just an archival one to repost deleted work? Either way, I'm glad it's up because I've fell in love with some of Jagger Finn's work with this being my introduction.
